Prairie Canary is a part of Prairie Hospitality Group. We take great pride in the quality and presentation of our food and our service. We believe our customers care about what they consume and where their food comes from. We do too. The vast majority of our menu items are made in house; we prepare over 135 different items each week. We source locally whenever possible and regularly feature produce from the Grinnell Farmer's Market in the Spring and Summer. Our meats and fish are delivered fresh, and the beef and pork are from lowa, processed 30 minutes away in Tama. We strive to support lowa breweries and are proud to have lowa craft beers on tap, with several from just a few towns away in central lowa. All menu items are prepared to order to ensure that our customers are getting the best quality and the freshest ingredients. The Prairie Canary staff will do their best to accommodate your dietary needs, food allergies, gluten sensitivities, and / or vegetarian or vegan lifestyles. Please be patient when changing menu items, as any changes may slow the preparation or affect the timeliness of your order.
